Happy 0th Birthday!
On May 25, 2006 at 15:42 PDT, in an incredible feat of physical exertion, Tam brought Xander Yun-Zhong Shih into the world. All 9 pounds and 1 ounce of him, at a length of 21.5 inches (we now pause to wince in agony). Despite his 14cm head, 13.5cm chest, and the odds on the Vegas betting board, she was able to deliver him vaginally (we now pause to writhe uncontrollably in agony). It was absolutely amazing to witness. I’m on my way back to the hospital in a few minutes, but to appease the masses, here are some photos!
Not to worry though, mom and baby are doing just fine and we should be able to come home tomorrow after the manditory 2 day stay. More to come this weekend!

I wonder where Bart is, his dinner's getting all cold ...... and eaten.

Blessings to you both. He is beautiful. Welcome to the world Xander. You have chosen well. We are looking forward to getting to know you.
With Love,
Calina, Donald & Cameron

OUCH! Sorry… that was our first reaction. :) I thought you were going to name the baby Bruce Lee? hehehe He is so precious though… but gosh, OUCH! Sorry… still can’t get over how big he is. And how the heck did you deliver him vaginally??? Sorry… but we, too, are writhing in agony as well. Nonetheless, CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Big hug,
Jennet & Aries

Hi Xander –
You’re one lucky guy to have such great parents! I have contacted the 49ers, and they are holding a place for you to join the team in 2028. They could use a guy your size. I can’t wait to meet you one day soon.
All the best,
Bruce
